We told you so, Miley

The Associated Press is reporting that Miley Cyrus isn't interested in filming a sequel to the upcoming "Hannah Montana" movie (although she is open to a presumably final season of the show).

The 16-year-old megastar has worked hard to liberate herself from her squeaky-clean "Hannah Montana" image over the last year or so. Who can forget that infamous Annie Leibovitz shoot? The 20-year-old boyfriend? The snapshot of Miley and friends pressing back the corners of their eyes, creating what appeared to be a racial slur? And, more recently, her vow to destroy Radiohead for not meeting with her at the Grammys?

Whoever's handling the adolescent star isn't doing a good job of preserving what used to be her biggest asset: her relatability. Miley Cyrus is well on her way to becoming another Britney or Lindsay.

The AP quote just makes it official: Miley's reign as America's Sweetheart is a thing of the past.

I'm not usually one to say "I told you so," but Miley, if you'd only followed my advice last year, none of this would have happened.
